TDC’s proprietary pipe coating/cladding technology can be applied on all commonly used anti-corrosion coatings on pipes and welded joints, including
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polyurethane (PU) (PU)
- Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE)
In general, pau wrap® solutions enhance and protect the anti-corrosion layer from damage caused by mechanical forces — such as pull-out forces, abrasions, recesses, soil stresses, and sharp obstacles — both during installation and throughout the entire product life cycle
Pau wrap® acts as a protective shell, preserving the electrical resistivity of the anti-corrosion system thanks to its superior mechanical protection properties
Key characteristics of pau wrap® include:
- The hardness of the composite and the mechanical properties of the material provide robust protection against abrasive damage
- Material flexibility ensures tolerance to axial and radial forces and stresses
