Alloy Pipe & Metal Srl was founded on January 19, 1990, by Eberhard Hill, a German manager who moved to Italy in the 1960s and built a long career in the trading of steel products across Europe, the Middle East, and Central and North America
In the 1990s, Alloy Pipe & Metal established representation agreements with leading companies in the sector, starting with Eisenbau Krämer GmbH (1993) and later with the Salzgitter Group (1995)

In the early 2000s, the current owners and managers joined the company to ensure business continuity, consolidating long-standing relationships with EBK and Salzgitter while developing new partnerships with other suppliers to expand APM’s offering with complementary products and services
New representation agreements were signed, and the trading activity was progressively strengthened through a growing network of highly qualified suppliers — manufacturers and distributors — from Italy, Europe, and around the world
